The Canterbury Tales

About
At the end of the 14th century a guy named Geoffrey Chaucer wrote ‘The Canterbury Tales’. They are a collection of stories (tales) that were told by the people who went to the Canterbury Cathedral together. Because it was a long journey, one of the men organized a story-competition. Everyone had to tell two stories on their trip and the person telling the best stories would get a free meal at the Inn when they got back.
