The author is Jandy Nelson and she is from the new york and she has written another book tittled the sky is everywhere, but I haven t read it yet.

The history is about 2 siblings that were really united, but 3 years later they don¨t talk, so the book tells the history when they was therteen from the point of view of the brother and what happened to their relation and 3 years later from the sister¨s point of view and how they solve it

ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is "the skin of memory", talks about children sold to be slaves. The author is Jordi Sierra, is a Spanish writer who also studied pop music and director of numerous magazines. The story takes place in different parts of Africa, for example, in Mali, where the protagonist was born. The main characters are Kalil Mtube (protagonist), his father, Zippo, and Leoba Bayabei. The bad guy in history is mainly his father, for selling to Zippo, another bad character because he treats them very badly. The good one is Kalil Mtube. The story is about a boy, Kalil Mtube who is sold by his father at age 11, he did not know where he was going, but eventually he discovered it. To a few days, the man that I bought him, Zippo, brought a boy gold, Leoba Bayabei, and later to two other brothers along with a girl. Zippo, sold them, and worked in a cocoa field. He tried to escape, but he was caught and punished. The next time, they got it, only Leoba died, And Kalim fainted. When I awoke I was in a hospital room and I was free.
I like to talk about things that really are important, and what I least like is that it is real. If I like the end, because no one deserves what this guy, and all others pass. I recommend this book to all teenagers as it makes you think things through and it is very nice in spite of everything. Alba Palacios.
